Boarding

In addition to our medical, dental, and surgical care, Southwest Louisiana Veterinary Clinic offers professional boarding services with veterinary supervision and individualized attention from our staff. We want your pets to be healthy and happy when they board with us, so we do our best to make them feel comfortable and at ease.

We accommodate both dogs and cats in our climate-controlled boarding area. Our canine guests are walked several times a day so they can take care of business and get some outside time. Every feline lodger has a roomy cage where they can stretch out and relax. We supply bedding for all of our boarders.

We provide a sensible diet for all pet guests, but you are welcome to bring food from home, especially if your pet is on a prescription diet. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarians will be alerted if any problems are noted.

All pets must be up to date on their shots and parasite free in order to board with us.

If you need someone to look after your pet when you are away from home, bring your baby to us, and we’ll supply plenty of tender loving care. Because space in our boarding kennel can fill up quickly, we ask that you make reservations in advance, especially around the holidays.
