Dr. Dennis Stelly

Dr. Dennis Stelly obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Louisiana State University. He then graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Stelly began his career at Southwest Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Stelly’s special interest in veterinary medicine is orthopedics. He is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Stelly, a native of Sulphur, has been married to his wife, Rhonda Dunn Stelly, who is a nurse, since 1990. They have three children, son, Philip Stelly, DVM LSU class of 2019; daughter, Madison Stelly, Psychology, LSU class of 2018; and youngest son, Justin. They have also recently become grandparents to a very adorable little girl. They are the owners of one dog and one cat. His hobbies include carpentry, traveling, and camping. He often travels on mission trips with the youth.
